高溪村是广州市花都区花东镇的行政村，在桑梓道（X416）旁，距花东镇约1公里。博雅地名网称面积约10平方千米，下辖10个村民小组，总人口1900余人（未注明年份）；快懂百科则记村域约198.04公顷、10个自然村、人口2001人[1][2]。村内有高溪古村，是广东省历史文化名村[1]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

因这一带地势较高，村旁又有流水经过，称高溪。高溪、凤岗、南溪三村原是同一个村，中华人民共和国成立后才分为三条村[1]。

1987年1月，花东区公所设高溪村委会，3月归花东镇[1]。

高溪古村[edit]

据传欧阳氏在清嘉庆三年（1798年）从今白云区江高镇沙溪村迁来建村，距今200多年，有欧阳宗祠1座、民居40座。高溪村民居在田心庄，为清代建筑，列入2002年7月公布的第六批广州市文物保护单位[1]。2012年5月，高溪村入选「第三批广东省历史文化名镇名村」；快懂百科称其被评为第二批古村落文物保护单位，两处说法有别[1][2]。

经济[edit]

村土地属基本农田和古村落保护区，集体经济靠出租厂房和龙眼园、沙糖桔园；水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘养四大家鱼[1]。
