南村是广州市花都区花山镇下辖的行政村，博雅地名网称南村村，在镇北约2公里处。[1] 村名说法是位于花城之南、房屋多朝南。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村在平原上，地势平缓，年平均气温21.7℃。下分13个经济社，包括老屋、旦家、散庄、洪茂庄、园仔、石下6个自然村。[1]

经济[edit]

2009年末，全村1938人，另有流动人口520人；外出务工或经商的劳动力占54.2%。种植以花卉、蔬菜为主，2008年农业产值为3800万元，村集体的收入则是40.25万元。[1] 2021年9月，南村进入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（花卉）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

南村、石下两个大队在1960年并成南村大队；1983年队制取消，设南村乡。村民委员会于1987年1月设立，起初属花山区公所，3月转归花山镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2017年10月授予南村「第一批广东省卫生村」称号；2023年4月，列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；同年5月再获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
