历史沿革[edit]
1959年6月，为修福源水库，原村被淹，全村迁到花城旁另建新村，仍沿用旧名；水库于次年4月建成启用。村民委员会设于1987年1月，起初归花山区公所，3月转归花山镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
水库片区在丘陵地带，西北高、东南低，以福源水库和山林为主；移民安置片区北部是种果树的丘陵，南部是较平坦的居住用地。[1]
经济[edit]
村分4个经济社，共169户，2009年末总人口729人。收入主要来自生态林种植和水库养鱼，青壮年多外出打工。[1] 2026年1月，福源村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
