南村属博罗县观音阁镇。村名据说取自早年聚居于此的南氏家族。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
乾隆年间隶博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时划给河源县，称二栋村；建国后回到博罗；1958年入观音阁人民公社；1983年隶区公所；1986年为南村管理区；1999年设南村村民委员会。2024年3月，南村命名为广东省卫生村（2023年度），2019年9月列入民主法治示范村创建单位名单。[1]
