南村是梅州市大埔县洲瑞镇的行政村，1963年从赤水分出，因在赤水之南得名。2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1963年自赤水分出，因位于赤水以南而叫南村[1]。此前历史与赤水相同：清乾隆九年（1744年）前后属大麻社赤水村，1958年10月属洲瑞公社赤水生产大队；分出后称南村生产大队，此后到了1983年12月称南村乡，1986年为村委会，1988年称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会[2]。
经济[edit]
村情称全村设14个村民小组，在册435户、1683人，总面积4.91平方千米，耕地1255亩（未注年份）。以水稻种植为主，2009年农村经济总收入1667万元，村集体经济约2.1万元[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2023年4月进了广东省2022年度乡村治理示范村的创建名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[1]。
