地理环境[edit]
村里地势平坦，大多是菜地和农田，不少土地用来种园林植物，另有少量丘陵。交通方便，生态环境较好。[1]
经济[edit]
村分14个经济社，2009年末总人口3018人，收入以农作物为主。[1] 和郁村在2021年、2022年两度入选淘宝村名单。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
和郁大队由两队合并而成（1960年）；1967年一度叫红光大队，1977年恢复旧称。1983年冬取消队制，改设和郁乡。村民委员会设于1987年1月，起初归花山区公所，3月转归花山镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，和郁村获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号；2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
