东兴社区是广州市番禺区市桥街道下辖的社区，位于街道东面，由原东方花园社区与原东兴社区合并而成[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称自2002年8月沿用至今；2005年3月，原东方花园社区居委会与东兴社区居委会合并，成立现在的东兴社区居委会[1][2]。广州市住房和城乡建设局在2021年11月把它列为2021年绿色社区[1]。

地理环境[edit]

社区在德兴路以东300号至470号、兴泰路以南2号至116号、盛泰路以西、东堤路以北的范围内，占地约17.5万平方米，绿化约3.2万平方米[2]。

社区有住宅楼70幢、居民小组67个，共2576户，常住人口约7795人（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）[2]。
