径口村在汕尾市城区红草镇埔边北面约5公里，海丰至汕尾公路西侧，由径口、田中央、金凤池、东坑等村组成，2009年总人口2120人，是红草镇的粮食高产区之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村民于清康熙年间由福建莆田迁来。1949年后属第六区，原归拾和大队，1973年分出成立径口大队；其管理区在1989年设立，村委会则在1999年成立。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
北有径口岭和海头山，西临长沙湾，南面是平原。以农业为主，兼有渔业和海水养殖；林业发展荔枝和马尾松，村里种荔枝，属镇里“三高”农业的生产基地。[1]
