拾和村在汕尾市城区红草镇埔边北面约3公里，海城至汕尾公路12.5公里处，由竹围、仁盛、新厝、厦村、东宫五个自然村组成，2009年总人口4170人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代中期，村民从福建迁来，属惠州府金锡都十三乡约。1949年后以十三乡为名，归红草区；1968年东风公社下设拾和大队，后隶红草公社；其管理区在1989年设立，村委会则在1999年成立。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
只有东北面是竹围山，其余多为平原。以农业为主，兼有少量鱼塭养殖、林业和商业服务业，林业以马尾松和荔枝为主。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月公布的广东省民主法治示范村（社区）2018年度创建名单中有该村；2021年12月获“2021年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
