地理环境[edit]
村域面积9.11平方千米，高山与低丘相间，石灰岩地质，土壤偏沙，境内有小型水库3座。2008年统计有水田面积1916亩、旱地面积614亩、山地面积4407亩、鱼塘面积264亩。[1]
人口民族[edit]
2008年全村人口1462人（442户），分散在12条自然村。[1]
经济[edit]
1986年村里筹资改建横西小学为楼房；良塘村小组1987年建好文化室、接通自来水，当年评为恩平县文明村；村委会办公楼落成于1995年；2003年有外来老板进村，连片种了700亩甘蔗。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年为联合社，1958年成为生产大队，1984年改称乡人民政府，1986年起改称村民委员会，1989年又称管理区；1998年10月，恩平市政府批准定名横西村民委员会。[1]
2019年9月，该村名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2023年5月，松山村获广东省爱卫会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
