地理环境[edit]
村域面积7.46平方千米，半丘陵地貌，石灰岩地质，土壤偏沙。2008年统计有水田面积1794亩、旱地面积354亩、山林面积3948亩、鱼塘面积303亩。[1]
村地势较低，虾山、白银一线和南华磨刀坑水库一线的两条河流都汇入此处，横陂洞约100平方千米的雨水在这里聚集，暴雨时常成涝；而村离水库较远，又易受旱。[1]
人口民族[edit]
2008年全村人口1673人（513户），分散在10条自然村，其中8条自然村用上了自来水。[1]
经济[edit]
由于耕作条件较差，近年村里改种花生、玉米、番薯和水果等旱地作物，农业有较大发展。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年为联合社，1958年成为生产大队，1984年改称乡人民政府，1986年起改称村民委员会；1998年10月，恩平市政府批准定名西联村民委员会。2024年3月，该村被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
