历史沿革[edit]
凤岗早年与新和关系密切：1958年两地合组一个农业社，随南海、三水合并为南三县而划归三水河口公社，1960年回到南海官窑；1961年沙头公社设立，凤岗成为独立大队，1963年再并入新和，直到1978年2月才又与新和各立一队。[3] 1983年凤岗设乡人民政府，1987年改为管理区办事处，1999年3月改设村民委员会，2005年归狮山镇。[3]

土地包括耕地2184亩、鱼塘1065亩和岗地120亩，常住600户2323人。2003年起先后获省卫生村、区"六好"和谐文明社区、生态示范村、体育强村等荣誉；2010年10月建成港式社区服务中心。[2]
