黄屋村位于东坑镇中心区域，紧临东坑大道与东兴路，辖5个村民小组。村名由旧称马坑改为黄屋，因以黄姓为主。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

黄屋村的立村年代有两说。东坑镇政府网称该村始建于南宋孝宗乾道元年（1165年），博雅地名网则记为南宋度宗年间，两者并列。[1][2][3]

据东坑镇政府网，村民先祖由南雄珠玑巷迁来，村址面向马岭，先称马坑，后以姓氏改称黄屋。[1] 博雅地名网也记载该村曾称马坑，后以黄姓命名。[2]

现状[edit]

据东坑镇政府网，辖区面积1.82平方公里，下辖5个村民小组。户籍家庭共859户、2325人，流动人口则逾一万五千。村内设一所公办小学与一所公办幼儿园，民办幼儿园有2所，卫生站也是2所，此外还有1个农贸市场。[1]

2025年12月底的村组资产合计2.35亿元（23502万元），增幅3.3%；经营性总收入3135万元，较上年降4.07%。村内厂房建筑约8万多平方米，工厂企业38家，以塑胶、模具、电子、五金机械为主。[1]

近年先后完成村史展览馆及东莞黄氏大宗祠建设，并推进村道升级、路灯安装和雨污分流工程。[1]
