黄屋村在惠州市惠城区潼湖镇南部，面向潼湖湿地，处于湿地范围之内，辖区面积7.6平方公里，分2个村民小组，390户，有1683人（外来人口另计；博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。[1]村内的黄屋古村保留着明清民居。[2]

据博雅地名网的旅游页，黄屋古村约在明末的1522年建村。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村内道路共13公里，其中8.19公里已硬底化，铺装率63%；博深高速的黄屋出口就在村口。[1]气候上冬夏季风交替明显，光照足，雨量充沛。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
黄屋古村占地约3万平方米，现存明清民居500多间，古石巷道2000多米。村里的老房有的屋顶垮塌、墙面斑驳，青石板路仍然结实；书室用青砖清水墙砌成。[2]2012年，黄屋村获评「广东省古村落」。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2012年建成一处生活污水收集处理池和人工湿地。[1]2023年4月公布的省乡村治理示范村创建名单（2022年度）里有黄屋村。[1]
