向阳村位于三角镇，城乡分类属镇中心区，原名苏强。文化大革命期间改名向阳，取义于永远向着“红太阳”。2026年3月，村里被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1948年，此地归三角乡公所管辖；1950年划入大湖镇，1958年称苏强大队。1983年改称向阳乡，之后1988年曾设白阳管理区办事处，1999年才成立向阳村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，向阳村获「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[1]

近况[edit]

2025年12月6日，县长黄罡星到村里与镇村干部交流，宣讲党的二十届四中全会精神，并了解典型村培育工作。[4]
