历史沿革[edit]
道光年间划归拆石铺管辖。1958年设坑头生产大队；1983年同岩头并成岩头乡；1987年建村委会，1989年一度叫管理区，1998年起定名坑头村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
经济[edit]
村里山多田少，主要在山上山下做文章：全村种沙糖桔约130亩、龙须菜约80亩，另有鱼塘11亩和三鸟7798只，向圩镇市场供货。村里还引进了惠骏食品有限公司（投资630万元），借本镇盛产红花油茶、白花油茶之便，做茶籽加工。[1]
