龙田社区是兴宁市龙田镇政府所在的居民区，居委会2005年正式成立。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

地名取自镇名，传说早年戴、龙、田三姓先后定居于此，故称戴龙田，口语里谐音为“大龙田”。[1]1980年，这里设立了隶属公社的街坊组织；2005年正式成立龙田居委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
