新寨村属兴宁市永和镇，村落地形狭长，由几处寨子联合而成，取“新联合”之意称新寨。[1]

建置沿革[edit]

1961年新民生产大队隶属廉峰管理区，1963年改由廉峰生产大队管辖；1978年归湖乡公社并改称新寨大队，1983年为新寨乡，1999年起为新寨村委会。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

首批「广东省卫生村」之一（2017年10月）。[1]蔬菜是该村的专业村产业，2020年8月入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]2024年4月，该村进入第一批「广东省乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
