西山村在蕉岭县广福镇，辖9个村民小组，在册127户、527人，总面积38平方千米，耕地924亩。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子在洪畲笔山以西，故名西山。此前一向叫石蛇村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年定名西山村；1958年为西山生产大队；1983年改西山乡；1987年起称西山村委会，1990年改管理区，1999年复称村委会。[1]
