历史沿革[edit]
明崇祯六年（1633年）已属广福乡，称铁坑村，清代沿袭。1958年为广福公社铁坑生产大队；1983年与石峰大队合并为石峰乡；1987年起称铁坑村委会，1990年改管理区，1999年复称村委会。[1]
著名人物[edit]
钟海文（1935年至1995年）生于本村，1949年9月入蕉岭文福工作队，参加土地改革，1955年加入中国共产党。[1]
