里村位于悦城镇东北部，面积约16.79平方千米，分7个村民小组，人口1800多，离悦城圩镇约10千米、县城60千米。村委会驻在里村，村名由此而来，1998年经德庆县人民政府批准设立。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

最初是里村乡，1958年后先后作里村生产大队、管理区，1998年之后称村民委员会。^[1]

集体收入主要来自出租山地；约九成农民种沙糖桔和贡柑，种植面积2500亩，另有肉桂1000多亩。^[1]
