大坝村在蕉岭县广福镇，国道205线沿线，下分20个村民小组，在册720户、2315人，总面积约10平方千米，耕地1711亩。[1]
地名由来[edit]
当地旧时有一大片沙滩，后人叫它大坝，村名随之而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国十年（1921年）这里是广福乡的一个集市，名大坝圩。建国后改称大坝村，人民公社时期是大坝生产大队，改革后先设乡，1987年并入广福镇作村委会；90年代初曾叫管理区，1999年恢复村委会之称。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村里把名贵树木、烤烟和仙草三项产业当作集体经济的支柱。2019年9月入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；到2026年1月，又在省内第二批「百千万工程」典型村中榜上有名。[1]
