乔庄村是广东省梅州市平远县大柘镇辖下的行政村，位于大柘镇县城一带。据博雅地名网所载（未注明年份），村内分4个村民小组，登记157户、559人，土地总面积2.88平方千米，耕地306亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：这里北、东、南三面环山，山间有较长的大坑，遍地樟树，旧称樟坑里；20世纪50年代土地改革时，取开基祖念乔公的「乔」字，配上樟坑里之「樟」的同音字「庄」，定名乔庄，经申请获政府批准。[1]

建制沿革，由近及远：1999年4月起称村民委员会至今；1989年称乔庄管理区；1987年改称乔庄村民委员会；1983年称乔庄（小）乡；20世纪70年代以前属丰光大队。[1]

经济[edit]

村里把扶贫挂钩单位拨来的扶持资金投入企业，按股分红。[1]

荣誉：广东省爱国卫生运动委员会在2017年10月把它列入「第一批广东省卫生村」。[1]
