龙潭村是广东省梅州市五华县郭田镇下辖的行政村。村内有黄国梁故居。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网记载，村口有一道瀑布，水流泻入潭中，像一条白龙跃入，因此叫龙潭。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网村情（未注明年份），全村分10个村民小组，在册186户、998人，总面积8.7平方公里，耕地约800亩，主要作物是水稻，上一年农村经济总收入544万元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载沿革，1949年这里是龙潭乡，1960年改称大队，1985年改称管理区，1999年又改为村委会，此后未变。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2019年12月，入选第一批国家森林乡村名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

黄国梁故居始建于1911年，又称光德楼，是建筑面积400多平方米、占地约770平方米，属客家农舍，格局为上五下五、左右各一横屋，共24间房。故居主人黄国梁（1894年—1927年）是五华县第一个共产党员，1922年入党，是古大存的入党介绍人。[2]

故居在2020年由五华县政府修缮并布置展陈，同年国庆前夕对外开放。故居2010年列为五华县文物保护单位，由梅州市政府于2020年3月13日公布，列第七批市级文物保护单位。[2]
