横涌村是广东省佛山市三水区云东海街道下辖的行政村，城乡分类为城乡结合区。[1]相传木棉涌流经此地时由西向东横向流过，因此得名横涌。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

50年代初，横涌乡由河口区公所管辖，1953年改属新成立的高丰乡。1958年高丰建人民公社，横涌单独设生产大队，管辖的村不变；1969年设革命委员会，1983年改设横涌乡人民政府。1987年撤区建镇，横涌随高丰归入西南镇。[1]
