高桥村是梅州市梅县区雁洋镇的行政村，由两片合并而成[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

旧时该村的高一至高四队和虎坑队五个生产队为一片，梅坪队、蕉窝队和桥子斜三个生产队为另一片；镇村建制改革时两片合并，取一片的“高”字和桥子斜的“桥”字，定名高桥[1]。清代归锦州堡，民国时期归丙村区，1949年为丙村区下的三乡；1958年并入丙村公社，1966年转入三乡公社，1988年改称高桥管理区，1999年起，村民委员会改称高桥村委会[1]。
