添溪村是梅州市梅县区雁洋镇雁村片的行政村，原名贪坑村[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
相传村中本只有一条小坑，地壳变动后塌陷成多个小坑汇成的大坑，“塌”与“贪”音近，人称贪坑，后来坑又变为山溪。村中先人嫌“贪”字不吉，而“添”字有添丁、添财之意，且音近，遂改名添溪[1]。清末归程乡雁洋堡，民国归梅县雁洋乡，建国初期划入丙村区；1956年划归雁洋乡，1958年并入丙村人民公社，1966年划归雁洋人民公社；1987年改称添溪管理区，1999年起，村民委员会改称添溪村委会[1]。
