历史沿革[edit]
村里河沙和沙质土地多，旧称文沙村；客家话中“沙”与“社”同音，改称文社村[1]。村落形成时属程乡县万安都，清朝归嘉应州丙村堡，民国时期归梅县平石乡，建国初期划入丙村区长坪乡；1958年并入丙村人民公社，1966年划归雁洋人民公社，1983年为雁洋区的文社乡，1989年编入雁洋镇四和管理区，1999年起，村民委员会改称文社村委会[1]。
