历史沿革[edit]
村名取塘背、田心两村的各一字合成[1]。清末及民国时归梅县雁洋乡，中华人民共和国成立后划入丙村区；1958年并入丙村人民公社，1966年划归雁洋人民公社，1987年改称塘心管理区，1999年起，村民委员会改称塘心村委会[1]。
