黄坳村是梅州市梅县区雁洋镇的行政村，村内有廖安祥故居怀永庄，为市级文物保护单位[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
当地过去多种黄竹，1950年以前称黄竹乡；1950年经村农会决议，取人口集中的黄竹头和坳头两处地名各一字，改称黄坳村[1]。清代归梅县锦州堡，1958年并入丙村人民公社，1961年后为三乡人民公社的黄坳大队，1983年11月政社分开，成为三乡区的黄坳乡；1987年改黄坳管理区，1999年起，村民委员会改称黄坳村委会[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
廖安祥故居怀永庄始建于民国时期，2020年3月13日被梅州市人民政府公布为第七批市级文物保护单位[1]。
