历史沿革[edit]
荔枝墩在早年隶荔枝坑乡，1958年随之同龙窝江乡并为和平大队，1961年自立荔枝墩大队，1968年迁到黎湛铁路西侧。1983年起称乡，1987年称管理区，1998年10月搬进现办公地点，次年定为村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村有村民3922人，其中党员82人；辖区面积4.21平方千米，有耕地1630亩，经济作物有蔬菜和花卉。[1]
