历史沿革[edit]

该村东部平坦、西面山高林密，溪流穿村而过，原称水源坑；因水源头有小瀑布，流水声不断，后改称水声。[1]清代归嘉应州大小立堡，1941年为第二区大立乡辖地；1987年设水声管理区，1999年起为水声村委会。[1]

2021年9月，村以中华鳖入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]
