石岭村为梅县区水车镇所辖行政村，村名得自当地石山岭多。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
石岭村在明代归程乡县万安都管辖，清代归嘉应州大小立堡；民国时期先后属梅县第七区、第二区，1950年后依次归梅南区、荷泗大区和水车乡。[1]1987年设石岭管理区，1999年起为石岭村委会。[1]
2017年10月，石岭村被省爱卫会列入第一批广东省卫生村；2019年9月又列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
