安美村为梅县区水车镇所辖行政村，1980年代初由安和村分出。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
该村原与安和同属一个大队，1980年前称安和尾村；1980年代初分开大队时，因山清水秀改称安美。[1]1941年为第二区龙文乡辖地，1956年属水车乡，1987年设安美管理区，1999年起为安美村委会。[1]2019年9月，村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
