历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村所在地较为平坦，有几百亩耕地，因此叫大布。[1]

大布在新中国成立后称乡，1951年12月成为第二十区（区府设在安墩）的小乡，1957年底并入安墩乡；1959年称村，1961年称大队，1984年复称乡；1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕8号文设村委，1999年称大布村委会。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

大布村入选广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度，2019年9月公布）。[1]
