历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后先称热汤乡；1951年12月为惠阳县第二十区（区府设在安墩）的小乡，1956年改称中心乡，1957年底并入安墩乡；1961年起为公社、大队，1984年复称乡，1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕8号文设村委，1999年称热汤村委会。[1][3]

据百度百科，热汤河穿村而过，河床下有硫磺温泉，沿河300米内泉眼密布，泉眼处水温可达96摄氏度，日均流量超过一万立方米；村域森林覆盖率95.5%。博雅地名网另称热汤汤泉水温常年约80摄氏度。[2][4]
经济[edit]
据该条目，温泉开发始于1994年，2008年第一家温泉酒店进驻，其后全村发展出约50家民宿，另有50多间农家乐和特产店。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
热汤一带被博雅地名网转述的旧资料称为「热汤之战」的旧战场，即国民革命军东征军打败军阀陈炯明之役。[5]
