和岭村在惠东县安墩镇，原名黄婆岭，新中国成立后改称和岭。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
该村建在黄婆岭脚，起初就叫黄婆岭，新中国成立后才改叫和岭。[1]
该村新中国成立初叫嶂梅乡，嶂梅行政村、嶂梅管理区的名称沿用到1961年，那年改叫和岭大队；1984年称乡，1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕8号文设村委，1999年称和岭村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
和岭村入选广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度，2019年9月公布）。[1]
