仙洞村在惠东县安墩镇，村名与山洞和传说中的升仙之事有关；1986年上洞、下洞两村由此分出。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村旁有山洞，传说有先知在洞中升仙，后人称此地为仙洞。[1]
仙洞1949年设村，1952年改乡，1956年为高级社，1961年为大队，1983年复为乡；1986年改乡为村并析出上洞、下洞，1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕26号文设村委会，1999年称仙洞村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
仙洞村以高山茶产业，列入2020年8月公布的首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
