地名由来[edit]

地名资料称，明万历二十年（1592年），钟氏在此落居，因这里土地肥沃、山水清秀而取名良田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区八保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年并入泰美乡。1958年为泰美人民公社良田大队，到1983年11月为良田乡，1986年1月改为良田村管理区，1998年起设良田村民委员会。[1]
