地名由来[edit]
村落奠基时，原有黎姓、罗姓人家在此居住，最初取两姓合称“黎罗村”，后觉得读音不吉利，改叫罗福田。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区二保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月并入泰美乡。1958年1月为泰美人民公社罗福田大队，到1983年11月为罗福田乡，1986年1月改为罗福田村管理区，到1999年3月起为罗福田村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
2021年9月，罗福田村入选广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为柠檬。[1]
