地名由来[edit]
清代，附近乡镇的居民赶集要从三更天就动身，这里的墟因此叫三更墟；新中国成立后成立三径公社，改写为“三径”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区三保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月设三径乡。1958年1月在三径人民公社下设三径大队，到1962年1月才划归泰美人民公社。到1983年11月为三径乡，1986年1月改为三径村管理区，到1999年3月起为三径村民委员会。[1]
