地名由来[edit]
清代有一位祖先在此立居，村名夏增村，新中国成立后改为下青村，1998年改称夏青村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代属惠州府；民国时期属惠阳县第三区；建国之初归惠阳县十四区的芦州乡；1956年11月才划给博罗县，属泰美乡。1958年1月为泰美人民公社夏青大队，到1983年11月为夏青乡，1986年1月改为夏青村管理区，到1999年3月起为夏青村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，夏青村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
