历史沿革[edit]
村名因村委会驻黄坪村而来。新中国成立后设黄坪小乡、黄坪大队，1984年改作黄坪乡，1985年撤乡改为村委会，1998年起为黄坪村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村分为44个村民小组，居民合计3429人，是南街最偏远的村委会，水田种水稻、花生，兼有鱼塘养殖和沙糖桔种植。[1]2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
