岑坑村是惠州市博罗县泰美镇下辖的行政村。村名与周围的山和山坑有关。^[1]

地名由来[edit]

“岑”指小而高的山，这一带山多，山坑也多，因而叫岑坑。^[1]

清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区七保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月并入楼下乡。1958年1月为泰美人民公社岑坑大队，到1983年11月为岑坑乡，1986年1月改为岑坑管理区，到1999年3月起为岑坑村民委员会。^[1]
