地名由来[edit]
村落奠基时本叫“木村”，后来房屋都是茅草搭成，常起火灾，才改为沐村，沿用至今。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区六保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月并入泰美乡。1958年1月属泰美人民公社秀岭大队，1977年单立为沐村大队。到1983年11月为沐村乡，1986年1月改为沐村管理区，到1999年3月起为沐村村民委员会。[1]
