历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：李姓人是这座山村的开基者，加上此地有一处洞天，四季香草鲜花盛开，故名李洞。[1]
清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文化乡；新中国成立后编入三区獭子乡。1958年10月，公庄人民公社下设李洞大队；公庄区时期（1983年11月起）称李洞乡；1986年1月撤区建镇后，成为公庄镇李洞管理区；至1999年3月，改称李洞村民委员会。[1]
