历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：四面有高山环绕，一条溪水由北向南流经梅林，汇入公庄河，故名南梅。[1]
清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属獭子乡，中华人民共和国成立后仍属獭子乡。1958年设公庄公社南梅大队，1983年改为公庄区南梅乡，1986年改为公庄镇南梅管理区，1999年起称南梅村民委员会。[1]
