历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：先人见这里古木参天、山岭连绵，借用苏轼诗句「横看成岭侧成峰」，取名横岭。[1]
清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文化乡；新中国成立后编入獭子乡。1958年10月，公庄人民公社下设横岭大队；公庄区时期（1983年11月起）称横岭乡；1986年1月撤区建镇后，成为公庄镇横岭管理区；至1999年3月，改称横岭村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2020年8月，列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为柠檬。[1]
