历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：山岗上原来住着白、沙两姓人家，因而称为白沙岗。[1]
清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文明乡；新中国成立后编入三区。1958年10月，公庄人民公社下设白沙岗大队；公庄区时期（1983年11月起）称白沙岗乡；1986年1月撤区建镇后，成为公庄镇白沙岗管理区；至1999年3月，改称白沙岗村民委员会。[1]
