坝子村位于惠州市博罗县公庄镇，是该镇所辖的行政村，行政区划代码441322104218。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：明代中期，石氏、吴氏兄弟从兴宁迁来定居，后来黄、许、骆、陈等姓也陆续从龙川、兴宁等地迁入。为解决农田灌溉困难，村人修筑河坝，村名由此而来。[1]

清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文化乡；新中国成立后编入三区獭子乡。1958年10月，公庄人民公社下设坝子大队；公庄区时期（1983年11月起）称坝子乡；1986年1月撤区建镇后，成为公庄镇坝子管理区；至1999年3月，改称坝子村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年9月，列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为油茶。[1]
  • 2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
  • 2017年10月，列入第一批广东省卫生村，评定单位为广东省爱国卫生运动委员会。[1]
  • 2024年1月，成为2023年度全国示范性老年友好型社区。[1]
